A comprehensive course that will teach you the ins and outs of simple tax filing using UFile for the situations you are likely to see while volunteering with the CVITP, and an introduction to federal and provincial benefit programs connected to tax filing.

This is the core "how to do taxes and access to benefits" course. It's the prerequisite for all other courses. Attendance, participation, and completion/submission of knowledge reviews and case studies is required. Certificate of Completion provided if grade of 70% is achieved, and all attendance/submission criteria met. Attendance and outcomes may be shared with your organization.

Virtual course classes are twice per week, 3hrs long, 10 classes total. Some outside class work involved.
